His teaching approach is very straight forward, especially as Science and Computer Science is content heavy and complex. He is able to provide a thorough perspective that extends beyond the limitations of traditional classroom lessons. By presenting context for how these concepts are used in the real world, he is able to make these subjects easier to understand with a complete explanation for how they are used to solve problems that everyone can relate to. His lessons can also be tailored to cover exam preparation for various exam boards, such as AQA, CEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. Josh’s lessons begin with a visual presentation explaining the focus topic, followed by interactive exercises that helps the students to experiment, express and reinforce understanding. With his support and explanation, each exercise challenges to describe and refine the thinking process to solve longer answer questions using the skills taught.
